The Rose Bowl Parade 2011 which is held in Pasadena is well underway.
This year’s Rose Bowl Parade 2011 is themed “Building Dreams, Friendships & Memories.”
The 2011 rose bowl parade will be broadcasted live ABC, Hallmark Channel, HGTV, KTLA (Tribune), NBC, RFD-TV and Univision at 11am. This year’s BCS Rose Bowl game is against the Wisconsin Badgers and the TUC horned Frogs, the game will begin at 2:10pm.
A little background history about the rose parade for those of you who may not know; the rose bowl parade is an American New Year’s celebration. This is an annual parade put on by the non-profit Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association. The rose parade features college marching bands, and rose flower covered floats.
The rose bowl parade kicks off the rose bowl football game against the two highest ranked college football teams in the BCS.
