Derrell Johnson Koulianos

Derrell Johnson Koulianos  Iowa's all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards, have been arrested by Iowa City Police on multiple drug charges.

DJK was adopted by the Koulianos family, and that helped him turn his life around and find the right path.

He's being held in the Johnson County jail and is scheduled to make an initial appearance Wednesday morning on multiple counts of possession of controlled substances, two counts of unlawful possession of prescription drugs and one count of "keeping a drug house."

He was released from Johnson County Jail after posting $8,000 bail Tuesday.

On Tuesday evening, Iowa Hawkeye senior wide receiver Derrell Johnson-Koulianos (DJK) was arrested by Iowa City police on a bevy of drug counts: possession of controlled substances, keeping a drug house and two counts of unlawful possession of a prescription drugs. Investigators also found more than $3,000 in cash, marijuana, cocaine and prescription drugs in DJK’s home, according to the National Football Post.

It seems at present, DJK’s Iowa career has ended.

DJK's arrest is a reminder to us, the fans, that we don't really know these players as much as we think we do.
