Winn Dixie is an American supermarket chain based in Jacksonville, Florida. It has ranked number 24 in the 2010 "Top 75 North American Food Retailers" based on 2009 fiscal year estimated sales of $7.3 billion by Supermarket News.
According to a company press release, this Christmas Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. has dispatched seven trucks-load of toys for “Toys for Tots.” These toys are donations totaling $100,000 from the American supermarket chain. Toys for Tots is a national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

This donation comes from the sale of the grocer’s specially-packaged bottled water at Winn Dixie. Ten cents from every 24-pack sold was donated to purchase toys for the program.
The toys will be distributed in Jacksonville and West Palm Beach, Fla.; Columbus, Ga.; Baton Rouge and Belle Chasse, La.; Mobile, Ala.; and Gulfport, Miss.
