Jessica Fashano , a 27-year old Citi banker,  commited suicide  as assumed, on Saturday by jumping off the roof of a Manhattan building, according to NYT.

She  did neither  leave a suicide note nor  the specifics surrounding her suicide are clear.  But from NYT :

A resident said she was returning from walking her dog and rode up with Ms. Fashano in the elevator. Dressed for the cold in Ugg boots and a winter jacket, Ms. Fashano asked the woman how to get to the roof — which has views of the Hudson River and New Jersey, where Ms. Fashano grew up. The resident, who declined to be identified, said Ms. Fashano seemed alert and aware.

At 8:13 a.m., however,  the police found her body in an internal courtyard, where she was pronounced dead. The police said they did not suspect foul play.

She dedicated a fair amount of her life and time to helping those who were less fortunate. She donated her time and financial skills  to help raise money for charities like ‘The Acumen Fund’.

She was described by friends and coworkers as having a personality  and an aura that made her visible no matter where she was in the room.  Though they knew she was suffering with depression, she was always in high spirits. Her suicide comes as a shock to all his friends and family.

Jessica Fashano will be truly missed by her friends, family and coworkers.
