Gwinnett County Schools, Georgia’s largest school system, have announced school closings or delayed openings for Thursday, December 16, as of  11:00 p.m.

 

Icy roads, sleet and freezing rain cause school closings in Atlanta as Winter seems to have a grip on Atlanta that just refuses to clear away.

Carroll County – 3-hour delayed opening
Cherokee County – Closed
Cobb County – 2-hour delayed opening
Decatur City Schools – 2-hour delayed opening
Forsyth County – 2-hour delayed opening
Fulton County – Closed
