Lee Corso’s Head Found


Lee Corso’s head which was stolen from the Gameday set on Saturday, is found.

The head was reportedly lifted around 3:20 pm Saturday after Oregon defeated Oregon State, 37-20. the mascot head was last seen in a large container box at the Oregon State University Memorial Union Quad near some ESPN transportation vehicles.  ESPN workers were clearing the College Game Day set when the mascot head was noted missing from its box.


The head is worth approximately $5,000.

Suspicion initially fell on OSU since the head disappeared from the College Gameday set in Corvallis. But then this photo of Lee Corso wearing a Ducks shirt emerged.

An Oregon State University employee called police this morning to say the giant head, was found near his car at his Harrisburg home.

In this connection, Police has arrested  two Oregon dropouts.

ESPN "College GameDay" analyst Lee Corso recently suffered a minor stroke, which was caused by the blockage to a small artery, but plans on being back for the kickoff of the 2009 college football season.

He is expected to make a full recovery sooner.
