Rakta Charitra 2 review

Ram Gopal Vamra’s Rakta Charitra 2, the sequel to the hit Telugu fim Rakta Charitra is expected in theaters on December 03 2010.

It is the general expectation that, Rakta Charitra 2 is going to have better mass appeal  than its predecessor.

RGV has focused more on the emotional aspect of the  film rather than on the traditional  violence aspect. He has edited all those excessive violent scenes from part 2 to make it appealing to the intellectual section of  the audience.

As always RGV has made a thorough research on the life of Paritala Ravi and met the people, including his wife and  followers to know about the real facts behind the killing of the gangster-turned-politician. He has used the facts to portray a fictitious, but powerful character in the hero. Nageswara Rao has done a good job for the masala film, as far as dialogue is concerned. His dialogues have created a rare emotional appeal with perfect precision.

Surya has given an impressive performance all through the movie and his performance is the highlight of this movie. Vivek Oberoi has performed very well and on screen he look like a real life goon. This time Radhika and Priyamani have got good opportunity to show their acting capabilities as well. Though the director has trimmed the role of  Shatrughan Sinha, but, as always the Bihari babu is a treat to watch, delivering his dialogues.  He has infused his old  charisma into his character in his short screen span. Kannada actor Sudeep has proved again that he is an excellent actor. Subhalekha Sudhakar has done more than justice to his role. Cinematography by Amol Radhod is another highlight of the film.

The suspense is about to end. Go watch it in theaters.

Cast: Surya, Vivek Oberoi, Shatrughan Sinha, Priyamani, Radhika, Sudip, Subhalekha Sudhakar and others.
